The Grandmaster....

The Grandmaster is one of the ageless Elders of the Universe and has mastered most civilizations' games of skill and chance.

Jeff Goldblum would have nailed it and yes I know I know...it would have altered the comic book storyline but his character would have been the perfect one for who was behind the entire TVA considering he loves games of chance, he and Loki would have been hilarious interacting.
