... is Hiddleston way, way, WAY overdoing it?

He's got center stage at last and is obviously enjoying it, but I think he's trying to fit far too much anger and feeling off balance and arrogance and sly smiles into every fucking line. He's not just chewing the scenery, he's cooking it up with a recipe from Escoffier and serving it up with service a la Russe!
