Mark Paul Gosselaer

Considering how this went they shouldn't have used him in the initial advertising. But I guess they had no choice since he's their only big name star.

He's one of the two main characters the show is about---why shouldn't they have used him in the advertising? Plus, he's playing the main villain role, which is unusual for him, so that makes the show a must-see right there. I've seen a few episodes, and since I like detective shows, I've enjoyed it so far--with its unique twist, which is different. Plus it's refreshing to see a black woman as the lead detective in a crime series for once. It's interesting that the only two new crime drama shows that played on NBC during the strike are this show and The Irrational, both of which feature black leads. I like them both.

Let me clarify. I thought they shouldn't have used him in advanced advertising because the twist was they show at the end of the first episode that she has him as her prisoner. That way it would be a surprise. But as I said they needed him because he is the only big name star in the show.
