Loved it

Was riveted to my TV here...just finished it and gf trying to sleep next to me so can't type much right now except to ask if anyone understood the ending?
Really enjoyed the series here, really confused about some things that seem to be left unanswered. Anyone get it?

reply

No, I liked it but I did not get it...
I was left with a few questions about this otherwise very good production:

1. Why were the ghosts angry at a random family?

2. What The Hell happens at the end?

3.What caused 'Da Tap Dancing Man' to torment Henry?

Performances, production value and soundtrack wise this was a great one...if only the script did not fail terribly

"1. Why were the ghosts angry at a random family?"
They weren't. The show describes the man in the black hat's origins; and explains that he's been doing this to families like this ever since. We get to see one example, with "Ella Mae," whose arc Lucky (and the audience) sees firsthand.

"2. What The Hell happens at the end?"
We don't know.

"3.What caused 'Da Tap Dancing Man' to torment Henry?"
??? There were several manifestations of the man in the black hat's tormenting of the family. Each one had meaning to that family member (Miss Vera for Gracie, Doris for Ruby, Tap Dance man for Henry). Each has to confront/defeat their tormentor. The ways in which this (finally) happen are layered and interesting; it seems like much of this has been missed in the discussions I've seen.

"if only the script did not fail terribly"
This seems more than a bit harsh.
