I would call Patrick Stewart SENILE for being in this...

...but it would appear I would have to call Brent Spiner, Marina Sirtis, Jonathan Frakes AND Jeri Ryan DUMB as well for also being in it.

Don't these actors have principles? I know Stewart always hated TNG, but I would've thought the others would've stood with Roddenberry's vision and not let their past work be contaminated like this!

And don't give me the whole "they're jobbing actors, they'll take anything" shtick, I know that they've made millions over the years and that they can retire off of convention appearances alone.

No, these people abandoned Trek and all it stood for to be part of Kurtzman's bastardisation of the franchise.

Stewart did not hate TNG - he had the best time of his life on that show. There's this myth going around that Stewart and Shatner hated their shows, which is far from being the truth. It didn't do them any favors later in their careers - true, but Stewart, being the better actor, managed to overcome that obstacle.

Anyways, Patrick has been getting senile - his voice is nearly gone and his mental state is just a tiny bit better than Biden's - so I don't expect him to make good decisions now - especially given that his career is nearly done.

Well, what I heard was something about the politics of TNG that Stewart didn't like. To be honest, I'm not sure. If he loved acting in the show, fine.

Does Stewart consider this Picard show to be his swansong? After all, his Professor X character is dead, and Picard is now an android, and the show may not last much longer, so there's not much else he can act in now, is there?
