That Marina was an uppity little so and so.

And so entitled ! Who did she think she was ? Everyone was bending over backwards to help her and all she did was stick her nose in the air and reject every plan to get her out of the pregnancy mess she had got herself into. But no she was only interested in marrying the young Colin Bridgerton under false pretences. And on top of it all she tried to abort her unborn child ! Little baggage !

I absolutely hated her character as well. Totally horrible woman.

Completely agree, I found her character infuriating!!! The options to help her weren’t ideal but she was lucky to be offered anything given her situation.

Every wealthy person in the show appeared to be "an uppity so and so". None of the upper class characters in these kinds of shows are really sympathetic for the most part.
