Pretty good movie

I actually watched Dolomite and his sequels before watching this movie. Me and my friend have a habit of watching amateurish movies, trash movies, B or even Z movie cinema. We all know Dolomite is a bad movie. Its sequels are even worse. However, I also know why Dolomite meant so much for the black culture in America. At that time there weren't that many movies with black leading actors. And Dolomite is a pretty colorful character and a movie. It also has big crowd pleasers, titties and Kung Fu. Also Dolomite is a pimp who speaks like he is reciting poems for the hearing impaired. Anyway, this is probably one of Eddie's better movies and it can be seen Eddie actually relates to the character. Eddie is that character only more successful and talented. Started doing stand up gigs, went on to do movies. Eddie also had movies that got terrible reviews. He made a movie about his own proffession and you can tell. There is also a part where Dolomite is talking to the picture of his father and it is revealed he kind of has daddy issues and that is a big reason he went into showbusiness. I don't know if that is not maybe Eddie's self insert. I watched his stand-ups and there are some segments about his dad that are not very flattering. But whatever may be the case, a good movie, good character and preformances from Eddie and Wesley Snipes.
