Were they trying to be confusing and vague on purpose?

It's not that I didn't like this show, it was just kinda hard to follow at times. They wrote this as if you already knew certain terminology. Something would pop up, they'd discuss it, and I'd be like, "Did I miss something?" I had to do some Wiki reading to clear things up. Things that should've been clearer in the show.

Overall, I did like the concept. I hope I can retain this information for when the 2nd season is made. I do not want to sit through this mess again to get caught up.

Yes, it was hard to follow. The creators are always to blame when people have problems following the plot. Some days I'm too knackered to fully pay attention to a show. But good shows make sure we still get the plot. This one was all over the place. No wonder it got 86d.

The book it's based on by William Gibson is confusing and vague.
