Trick For *English-only speaking Netflix users

... that want to see this movie ... no need for subtitles.

Trick is to change the “AUDIO” setting to English. This will dub the movie with English language. *This setting works for few other Languages as well. The subtitles do not translate perfectly but very close, however I did not find the need to use subtitles. The voices were not annoyingly off.

Just a trick if you only speak one language and/or if a movie is not in your native language.

Each to their own but what a horrific experience that would be. It actually defaulted to this when I watched it and I wouldn't have bothered it hadn't have let me change it to Spanish with English subs.

Yep subs all the way.

Awful suggestion. It’s not a trick either. Dubbing another movie completely takes away the performance of the actor/actress. Out of curiosity I changed it at the beginning just to see and the gravely voice of the old guy is replaced by a guy that reads Shakespeare every day. Just read the subtitles it ain’t hard

100% the above. I started the movie with dubbed english audio (it was defaulted for me) and after 2 minutes of bad voice acting and realising that i was watching a Spanish film, i switched it to the original audio and turned on english subtitles. Trust me its worth it.

I prefer sub to dub as well, but let's not kid ourselves into thinking it's great either way. If you really love cinema, you also love:

1. Cinematography. Which is badly marred by having words constantly dumped on top of the photography.

2. Acting. Which is not that easy to perceive when you are reading the dialogue down at the bottom of the screen (it would be better if they put the words as little talk bubbles like in a comic book).

This was three years ago. I wrote this hint thinking, at the time, that this movie would gain more traction with Netflix users. So yeah, maybe my taste in films is a bit different from those of my friends and peers LOL

I enjoyed this film and it was nice of you to post something that you thought would help people. Thanks for being that guy!
