I didn't think the movie was as bad as some did. What was the deal with the safe deposit box?

It was the key to revive his memory or something. Like a trigger he left himself. To find his daughter when she will grow few years.

It was also an anagram (word or phrase formed by rearranging the letters of a different word or phrase) and it wasnt a name. "Find Lev Dellrayne" refers not to a person but "Deer Valley Lane": the location of a ranch where Rourke's foster parents have been hiding daughter.
