that's it?!

THIS is how they end the season??

Geesh.

reply

I agree. That's about as weak of an ending as you can get.

reply

Which is unfortunately more of a rule rather than an exception in the horror / suspense genre...

I really liked it... They left enough lose ends open... Recognised the pain and trauma that the Turners have been hiding from and not facing...

If it was too "resolved", or too "explained", then it would have ruined the mystery and the mood... This way, the series leaves you with the gut punch of reality and the lingering creepiness that the cult is still out there... in a state where you are thinking about the show days after you've watched it...

reply

No, it just left me angry that I wasted my time on it.

And I doubt this show is getting a season two.

reply

I would love for it not to have season two... I think it would explain to much, make it too TV, too much plot and information...

If anything, I think you could cut an hour or so from the current season... make it tighter... more mysterious...

I guess I'm more used to horror movies, rather than TV shows (i tend not to watch too many shows)... Leaving things unsaid and unexplained is more common... More ambiguity...

reply

this is not worth watching??

reply

The show had some excellent work from the actors, but the plot was a letdown.

reply

I loved it! You should give it a watch!

reply

I loved the entire series! I cannot wait to see the next season. I felt bad for the couple at the end. They were given a gift and then it was cruelly taken away from them.
