I’m halfway through episode one and this uncle is propelling the whole story by pushing the girl to have dinner, et. al. and he has not one ‘iron in the fire’ as they say. It is a ploy the rest of the story will depend on but it’s manufactured and not born out of any multi-faceted character traits.
