My household was very decisive about this one and I don't see a lot of chatter anywhere. Thoughts?
shareWe liked it. Not big budget, but well-done and convincing -- good acting, interesting plot, cute reference to the X-files. The acting was very good, especially the strong female lead and the "old-fashioned" agent.
This is one of those indie-type pictures that manages to produce a product greater than the sum of its parts.
Its limited budget is evident in places, but they compensated or it by smartly limiting the cast, in addition to a narrative trope that allowed "bad actors" to get away with it -- the people who were occupied by the alien intelligences could sort of not really act (or act-not-act) and not really harm the picture.
