These were very visually interesting and pay off in the closing of the final episode... but what I hated was there was no real theory as to why she thinks she's having these conversations with the dead guy.

Was there an explanation for these? Finally I figured they were a form of delirium brought on by her alcoholism.

I just got that she was figuring stuff out, bouncing stuff around in her head. He made it a point to say he doesn’t know anything that she doesn’t know. I like the actor so I was very glad he was in it for the whole series after being killed in ep 1.
