not bad

I mean, at first I thought whoa - is this based on true story? Do mental hospitals submit people for an involuntarily stay as an insurance scam? There are numerous accounts of private prisons bribing judges to get people sent over in the US (hence the biggest prison population per capita in the world - funnily enough, nothing is being done about this - USA truly is the most corrupt nation in the world). So, I wondered if this an equally big eye opener in regards to the mental hospitals. BUT.... no, this film is not based on true story, nor is there any real-life indication that this is how US mental hospitals operate this way today.

Still - the story sounds plausible enough to keep me interested throughout the whole film.
I did fast-forward in many places - I think I wanted to know how this would end a bit too much - but also because some of the conversations weren't really important. In that sense, this film could have been shortened by 20 minutes or so.

If this film was based on true story - this film would have been a gem - worthy 10/10 score, because it would have been as important to public awareness as 'One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest'. As things stand, I'd give it 7/10 for the suspense/thriller bits.
