Does anybody know why Rebecca Gayheart’s character is listed as Billie Booth in the credits yet she calls herself Natalie in the movie?

I must say that Natalie is a very interesting choice of name considering the scene.

I’m pretty sure Billie was talking about her sister, Natalie.
But name-dropping a Natalie on a boat/murder scene in an alternate history flick is definitely a sly nod to that actual incident. Not just an interesting choice, but a deliberate choice.

The way I hear it is she quotes her sister.

“‘Natalie,’ my sister said, ‘he’s a loser. He’s a loser.’”
