but is it just me, or is there a mini-trend in movies of showing people with noses running or drooling with mucus all over their face?
am i the only one who's made absolutely sick by this?
i had to look away from the screen during that scene, occasionally glancing up to see that, yes, they are still lingering on that guy with snot all over his face.
why?
i love trashy, sleazy movies. i swim in garbage.
but this is something i never, ever want to see.
fun movie otherwise, though.
I sure hope it's not a mini-trend because it is hard to watch indeed. I did noticed it in a few dramas when a character cries though. In this particular case, I think it fitted the character so well that I laugh as I was repulsed but otherwise, I know it's weird but, I'd rather watch someone getting his head chopped off by a chaisaw than this.

The Mansion is not just a parody of most "mansion horror movies", it's a parody of a specific one. The movie is Sheitan (2006), starring Vincent Cassel. Now I understand the "dead dog/snot" scene!!
I have to give the upper hand to The Mansion, which deserves a 8/10 but Sheitan was more than acceptable and deserves a 7/10.
Watch it if you have the chance!
