So just one drink or injection caused permanent memory loss? I thought Walter and the other vets were eating the stuff for months to maintain memory loss. Otherwise a good ending. Chris Cooper steals the show.

I assumed Walter and Leonard mixed up a super potent batch for the punch.
The only thing I find odd is that it seems even single person there drank that stuff? No one was standing around saying "what the hell is going on".
shareYes, my wife and I both thought that bit was highly improbable. Some people would naturally not want anything to drink, some would be in the rest rooms without a drink, some would likely still be in their offices finishing up on last minute stuff before joining the party...
Even the people who drank it wouldn't all down it at the same rate. Once people started collapsing, the slower drinkers would have stopped drinking if only to render aid whether they correctly identified the drink as the source of the poisoning or not...
It would have been better written if the drink was somehow just served up to the relatively few people in the know...
