So disappointing... (spoilers)

Even the naval combat was pretty bad. Way too overly Hollywood and unrealistic. It seemed more like video game scenes. They are trying to say this was a factual account?

Those corny older Americans accents are bad enough with American actors doing them, but with foreign actors, it's even worse. They sounded so fake and awful. Even more in such cliche comic scenes. The script was just plain awful.

And some of the casting choices? Who thought it would be a good idea to give any role to that annoying wooden blonde actor from Vikings or Rodney McKay from Stargate? Nick Jonas? Crazy. I guess they were cast to try to draw certain audiences rather than make a better movie.

Dunkirk was overrated, but it was far superior to this film. It's hard to believe Michael Bay didn't make it too.

This is the second one after Pearl Harbor. They got all this money to make a good film about an interesting topic and it becomes a cliche mess with terrible acting.

Never felt any tension or build up. Seemed like they mentioned doing something and 2 seconds later it happened.

Immediately after you finished cringing over some cliche maudlin dialogue.
