DJ is the most stable one now...

He has a military career, a wife and a child and seems happy (so far) when he was a kid he was a big wacko at times.. Darlene is unemployed, separated and raising 2 kids, probably very worried about her prospects... of course she always had her ups and downs..

Becky makes me the most sad.. she went from a young girl who made straight A's in school and was responsible and helped out a lot at home and hoped to go to college in the medical field, to being widowed and struggling... her prospects were the most bright of all at one time and now not so much..
It is interesting how this show, and life plays out in unexpected ways, isn't it?

I find it funny how DJ grew up to be the most successful, stable and normal. Who would have thought? LOL! It still mirrors the older seasons, though--DJ, while weird, never got into the sort of trouble that Darlene and Becky got in. Roseanne and Dan even yelled at DJ the least. The worst thing DJ even did was taking their car out one morning without their permission. While bad, that was just one major action. DJ was, ironically, still more compliant and better-behaved than his sisters.

I've noticed that DJ's daughter might be groomed to be thew "new DJ" of this show, though. That "I want to train cats to bark" line sounds like something bizarre that DJ would say.

Agreed. Even when he was a teen, he was still a good kid. He just loved movies and being a little geeky. Not surprised he's the "normal" one or the well adjusted one.

Totally. I found Lacey played a smarter Becky back then And when Sara played her she seemed ditzy. Now Lacey is playing her again And she seems crazy ditzy.

It reminds me of how in the first few seasons Jackie seemed a lot more stable than she did around the time she started seeing Fred. All of a sudden she was bug eyed and off the wall. I noticed that about Eric on Boy Meets World as well. The first few seasons he was normal. All of a sudden they made him almost stupid.

I miss the younger Becky. she may have been mouthy and a brat at times, but she was smart, a straight A student and had ambitions.. and a hard worker..
