The guy tied up in the basement bloodied his face bashing it against the switch in Morse code. The little kid translated it into a call for help but there was never seemingly any ramification of that?
shareIt represents how lower classes plea for help, however hard they try, never go anywhere.
Even when there are people listening or care about them (in this case the boy represents social workers,) in the end actual help never comes.
