Should I bother with S02?

Other than Spacek/Glenn, too few compelling scenes directly advancing the ultimately pointless main plot line, my favorite being the all-too brief screen time of Odin Branch, S01 was a major waste of time, imo. Unless anyone can say there were major changes/improvements in S02, I'm gonna give it a wide miss, thx.

If you didn't like s1 I doubt you'll like s2. I thought they were both good.

Thanks for the reply. Just started Shogun which should last me at least until the next season of Taskmaster, and then Clarkson's Farm. I'll survive... :D

I need to watch Shogun soon, It looks good!

Clarkson's Farm is good too, looking forward to season 3.

Just two episodes in to Shogun and it's very well done. So far just setting the stage between the Japanese kingdoms and the surprising small presence of Portuguese missionaries spreading Catholicism.

Clarkson's Farm was a huge pleasant surprise to me, being a total noob to Clarkson and his expanded universe.

Not sure if you didn't mention Taskmaster because you had seen and not liked it, or it was just an oversight, but it's an obsession of mine. Part unique game show, part comedy chat show, but it's brilliant. Since it's become so popular, there are shows in at least 7+ countries, with only four in English: UK, AU & NZ, and of course the one season they did in the U.S. is the lamest, imo, try to find the original UK version uncensored, since they curse a lot. But in a pinch they have 16+ seasons on their own youtube channel available free in the U.S., not sure about other countries: https://www.youtube.com/@Taskmaster All profanity censored, but it doesn't suffer too much for it.

I'm going to start Shogun once my prime video subscription ends in two weeks, then I'll switch to Disney+.

I've had a similar experience with Clarkson's Farm, it's a really fun and interesting show.

I didn't mention Taskmaster because at first I didn't know what it was and I was too lazy to Google it before. But now I realized that I have actually watched the Finnish version of it, it's just under a different name. My girlfriend loves the show and I've watched a few episodes with her. She watches the UK one too. The Finnish version was kind of fun, but not really my thing.

But my taste in shows is highly questionable. Lately I've been binge watching the reality show Rock of Love on prime video. It has to be one of the most idiotic, ridiculous and trashiest shows to exist. But I can't stop watching because it's also hilarious in it's awfulness.

Ah, I'm not even sure what other languages you speak, as your written English is perfect. As I don't speak a word of Finnish, in fact I'm not sure it's a real language, :D I haven't seen that version. Since each season has five different comedians, with different strengths and relationships, if you find yourself bored, pick a random UK episode. S14 was especially brilliant. I will nudge you no more.

Haha, I just read the synopsis of Rock of Love and it does indeed seem, er, unique, but I have all kinds of weird tastes, although I haven't loved many reality TV shows, I will admit I was totally in to The Osbournes when it was on the air, and even own several DVD box sets. As unusual a family as they were, and as much as they bickered, I really got the sense that they all really loved each other. That, and Ozzy's antics and...would you call that an accent...? An affect...? Or was it just the drugs talking? I just loved hearing him speak.

Random semi-reality/semi-brilliant and hilarious observational unique show: Nathan for You (2013). It has made me laugh to the point of passing out, and halfway through the show while still being brilliantly funny, it became a deeply important show that delved deep in to the human condition. I honestly and literally believe it to be the greatest TV show ever made. But that's just me.
