I finished S2 and anxiously await another season. Fingers crossed.

S1 was good but had a few minor problems along the way. 8/10
S2 was excellent. They outdid themselves. I have zero complaints. 9/10

I loved the first 5 seasons of Homeland but it lost its way. This show is scratching that CIA itch that Homeland gave me.

This is one of the very few new shows that has this level of quality. Y'know what I didn't see? Identity politics. Refreshingly absent. Almost weird to not see it. It's like this show was made 15 years ago before the goal posts were installed where artistic integrity used to be.

Season 2 hasn’t been released in Australia yet but comes out next month (Oct, 2020) on Stan which is a streaming service here.
I did a rewatch of Season 1 yesterday in preparation.
I’m so happy to hear that you think Season 2 is even better!
I am even more excited to see it now.

Homeland is much better Condor.
Condor started out pretty good, but then it got unreal very quickly.
There are many stupid things about Condor, it gets way to complicated to ever be realistic.
And for Joe not to kill Joubert after the accident, after she just killed the only people he knows and who were his friends?
Ridiculous. Not to mention the whole idea. Bodies everywhere, no accountability for people all dropping violently dead.
Ridiculous again.

I'll take Condor over any season after 5 of Homeland. Maybe even over S5 too. First 4 seasons of Homeland are far superior though, yes.

I think the last two seasons of Homeland were the best. I think it is because up to those last two seasons right-winger were thinking it was a right-wing show. Then it got a lot closer to reality and the real political situation with the right-wing conspiracy to take over the country, and it shined the mirror on the right-wing nuts ... so they don't like it anymore.

Condor was fun to watch, but totally meaningless, and flew off into stupidness in the last episodes, and tease for the next season in Italy was typical thriller movie BS ... show the domestic scene, boy and girl in romantic place and then threaten them or kill the girl and show turns into a revenge show. EPIX doesn't have season 2 on its Amazon Channel yet, so I don't know when I will get to view S2, but I'm betting I will just turn it off in a few episodes. Hope not, but that is what it looks like.

Say what you will about Homeland, but it was anything but cliche.
