Its the way they've cleverly interspersed scenes from previous Terminator movies with other non Terminator movies starring the main actors (Hamilton/Furlong/Biehn/Patrick STDVD syfy movie stuff no ones seen so it looks like it could've come from a new Terminator as they all look noticeably older but are in familiar 'terminator like' action situations. as well as Arnie in very 'Terminator like' scenes from End of Days, Collateral Damage, Eraser) and just other movies in general (city destructions from various movies I cant tell which). and given it a Cameron-esque blue lit make over. so all in all it feels like it could be a genuine trailer for a true sequel to T2 .. so much so quite a few non die hard fans seemed to think it was the real deal (from the comments)

all the comments now be saying they wish this was Dark Fate! (I agree. this trailer really does feel as if its to a Cameron directed T3 had it been made in around 1999)

That is the first I've seen that and it's really cool - too bad that wasn't the tone of DF.

i remember before Genisys there were rumours of a T5 and 6 being done back to back with William Wisher writing and Justin Lin (Fast&Furious) directing with Linda, Biehn, RPatrick and Furlong returning with Arnold..

I imagine those films would've been something like that trailer
