the huge irony here is that a movement founded upon black independence & autonomy, for better and worse, is now being gnawed into by a very white person's pseudo-religion.

tragic. i happen to believe there, amid the racism, is some validity to what Farrakhan says - there is a deep corruption at work in the power centers of the developed world, with black folks definitely in the non-receiving end. cultural self-defense measures are appropriate.
