Love the history lesson
I feel really bad for Commodus and Caligula. Both were victims of circumstance, RIP.

History is written by the victors, after all (or those who survive longer, at least). Having Cassius Dio (one of the senators who hated him) be our primary source of information about Commodus, for instance, would be like having Hilary Clinton be our best source of information for Donald Trump (or vice versa). It all could be true, I suppose. But I'm staying pretty skeptical.
Loved this series. Really interesting to think about how much of it was true and how much was spin doctoring of the time.
