Garbage

Felt like they the whole movie was just trying to force itself forward. A lot of rushing the plot and predictable. Acting is fine but the scripts are just garbage. It's a country side version of Police movies where the detectives are SUPER COPS. I got really pissed off when they came out of nowhere with a whole super cop dog. Straight up junk.

I liked the film very much. I looked into purchasing it a while ago, but I couldn't find any hard copies due to it being a Netflix movie. Maybe one day it'll pop up on Amazon or something, though I doubt it.

I'm not saying you're wrong, (obviously. Your opinion is your own and nobody can tell you how your opinions should be) I'm merely saying that I very much enjoyed watching it .

The country folk weren't detectives though, they merely became suspicious due to them acting suspicious. They knew the land and the woods, since they all live in the area (and I presume that most of them had their family tree rooted in that little town (hamlet?).

They had a dog, yes. Most country folk have dogs, not only for companionship but for work as well. Hunting mostly. So the fact that a dog picked up a scent isn't very far fetched at all, though. Although it wasn't a straight up cadaver dog, I'm sure it's response enough to assume it's owner trained it in some capacity.

If you don't mind me asking, how come you think they were "super cops"?

Marcus let it slip that he knew the nephew wasn't alone, rousing thier initial suspicion.
Mm Also, when the dog picked up the scent, they could tell the Earth hadn't had time to settle. Therefore it stood out from its surroundings.

Everyone's got their opinions, doesn't necessarily make them right or wrong.
I'm just curious about the "super cop" comment, tbh.
