Season 3. I'm confused as heck.

I'm upto episode 5 and I'm confused as heck. First of all, efore this season it was a perfect loop suddenly the perfect loop seems to be broken. But, it doesn't make sense that the loop is broken because things must have occurred in the pattern for the subsequent things to happen.

First of all, Old Jonas from 1888 says that he doesn't remember going to the alternate world. How the heck can this be? Old Jonas remembers seeing Martha die, but afterwards how did he get out of the explosion without alternate Martha's help? He had to have escaped somehow otherwise he wouldn't grow old.

The other anomaly was Claudia not remembering her conversation in the future. Young Claudia goes to the future and talks to future Claudia, but future Claudia sees this as a brand new conversation which she didn't have before. She should have remembered it right? I am guessing the young Claudia may be alternate world Claudia

Finally, at the end of episode 5, young Jonhas dies. Initially when old Johnas said that he didn't remember going to the alternate world, I thought he must have lost his memory somehow along the way, but now I'm deeply confused. If Johnas dies here (in Eva's room), how can he grow old and do the things that he did in the previous season? It can't be the case that Old Johnas is a different alternate dimension Johnas otherwise he wouldn't have remembered some of the things he did, such as Martha dying.

Maybe it will be explained in later episodes after 5, but I wonder if I missed some hints from previous episodes.

I mentally checked out. Now I let it run in the background while I do my stuff on the computer

This is definitely not one of those shows you can mentally check out from and still understand it. I actually had to take notes while watching it. There are also some fun missable little hidden easter eggs too.

I really liked this show overall.

I said Nevermind...lol because the source of my confusion was explained in detail at the beginning of the very next episode, Episode 6.
