Love this show, bit convoluted but really paid off in the end. But I wonder/hope for a second season to explain the future elder Claudia and Jonas come from.

The older Claudia is from the present timeline on the show, 2019. She was already 45 in 1986 (I mean, looked like she was in her 50's, but we are supposed to think she was 45 because she was 12 in 1953).

Older Jonas is from 2052, where he time-traveled at the end of the season.

I thought the basement room Jonas wakes up in is where older Claudia was living since she wasn't around much circa-2019?

Unless that basement room (2052) was where older Jonas was living before going back?

Anyway, really interested to see what kind of world 2052 is.

Well, from what little we've seen, they have a nuclear winter and society has crumbled. They are in a nuclear holocaust.

I need my fix for this kind of scenario since I lost interest in 12 Monkeys mid-third season.

Yeah, remember Claudia popped up to talk to Bartosz in 2019 - who thought she was dead since before he was born. My guess is that she travelled from 1986 to 2019, and then lived in secrecy for some reason till 2052 (making her so old) before she could (or wanted to) get back to meddle with things, and by then lived in the bunker.

Also think elder Jonas will age in the future before he manages to start getting back to visit his former self.

Can't wait to see where they go with this in next season!
