Why would you want someone to call you by their own name?

That means that they are like one unit.
It's meant to be romantic, I guess.

They are connected. They are one. I don't think it's silly at all, but some don't feel things as deeply as others. You are not wrong for how you feel, but neither are the people who understand.

They found it sexy for some reason but it made no sense at all to me. It was just weird.
