I love good courtroom dramas (possible spoilers)
Such as:
The Verdict
Anatomy of a Murder
A Few Good Men
Judgment at Nuremberg
This wasn't like any of those. This was probably the worst of the genre I've ever seen. After all the sometimes preposterous histrionics of the witness examinations and cross-examinations, we don't even get to see the summations. Just as Jamie Foxx is about to start his, the camera cuts away to a long empty hallway of the courthouse. Then the jury forewoman is reading the verdict.
IMO, the 7.1 rating on IMDB will sink like a stone as time goes by.
