Filming location

What I fail to understand about this movie why they opted to film it in Romania and not in Sweden. It's not that Sweden doesn't have huge forests.

Production costs. Sweden is expensive.

The Romanian locations are breathtaking; I don't see how actually shooting the film in Sweden would've improved upon these locations.

I was sure it was in Sweden because I imagine Swedish nature looking like that. Do Swedish people notice it looking different?
