the 90's were great

• No phone zombies shuffling around.
• Social media had not yet destroyed the fabric of society, turning it into the self-absorbed, polarized mess it is today.
• Amazon and their ilk had not yet disrupted retail.
• Normal weather. Climate change effects were only beginning to manifest themselves (at least in my area).

It seems the 90s were the beginning of the end. I used to envision the upcoming 21st Century as being an era of innovation and progress. Two decades into it, I'm not seeing much of this. Society appears to be regressing.

Yeah, the 1990s bring me a lot of good memories.
