Just finished Maniac

I had no intention of watching this. Jonah Hill might be the most annoying actor of our times and Emma "Sharkface" Stone is no Oscar material. But the reviews suggested that this might be a show for me so I decided to give it a shot.
I have to say I'm impressed. It's like... eXistenZ (1999) with a touch of Legion. The design, cinematography and ideas of this alternative world alone worth the watch. Given a chance to show off different aspects of their talent both main actors did a pretty good job.
I'd definitely recommend it.
It's not perfect and I found the ending disappointing but still...

**** SPOILERS ****

Until the post-credit scene I was convinced that this was yet another dream-world and Owen was just an aspect (or an inner demon) of the real main character (his made-up "brother") living in our reality.
