So.... now that he is here

Now that Tony is back, was anyone else hoping the show would just focus on him. I could care less about Andy and his bf, I could care less about Corey's gf and brother and whether they survive, I could care less about Jadallah...

In one scene of dialogue Carlos Bernard out shined everyone in the series. I wanted to see him go old school CTU on Jimmy Smitts dad. I hope he plays out a larger role in the episodes to come and not just a cameo~

Something tells me his story will branch out into a larger plot, and present the next season of 24; the return of Jack Bauer.

Would you be against a plot where Corey dies and Tony becomes a new protagonist. A CTU director turned terrorist trying to redeem himself. No one would trust him if he were right. That would make a cool juxtaposition to Jack Bauer. I would watch that show any day~

Spoils of course. Tony did a lot of bad things, and really there is no excuse for what he did. He even went out of his way to threaten innocents, along with Kim Bauer, and strapped some bombs to Jack in an effort to kill someone who vaguely had anything to do with Michelle's death (that was mostly Graem Bauer, who hired the hitmen).

There isn't any real redemption as some have said, but, him rescuing Jack would be a good step to getting on the right track again. I can't wait to see what's in store for Tony.

See I hated how they did that. I hated the final arc of season 7. They made Tony do things that were unforgivable. But he was so popular that fans didnt care.

I just think how different the last arc of Season 7 would be if Tony sought out the help of Larry Moss and Jack Bauer to apprehend Alan Wilson, instead of writers turning Tony into an unforgivable villain.

Intriguing and shocking, sure, and it makes for some crazy tense moments, but it seemed unrealistic considering all that Jack & Tony had been through, though I will admit some of Tony's rough edges, which do grow from Season to Season, are present even as early as Day 1 and Day 2 where Tony is threatening Jamie--her son, and interrogating Marie Warner's husband-to-be.

That would be a a good way to go Volley/
