Burnham isnt Likeable Enough

I'm curious as to why they made her a human raised by Vulcans (other than to connect her to Spock and an alternative timeline) as it makes her very difficult to like. All the other characters are instantly more likeable but she is struggling to find a groove.

Will they soften her edges in season 2 or focus more on other characters?

I don’t know.

But I do agree she is kind of meh as a main character.
