watch it thinking of Rose's off-screen interactions

Say when Chris's phone gets unplugged. She goes and chats with Georgina off-screen about it apparently, and then Georgina goes to apologize to Chris. But knowing who/what Rose and Georgina really are, it makes it more screwed up. The only reason for the continued mind games is just for the very sake of fucking with him more

It's been awhile since I watched the film, but wasn't there an in-movie reason given? Like, there was a reason to ease the target into the scheme?

Probably. I just more mean in the above example, we're meant to think Rose is scolding Georgina, but it's really more like "Your move Grandma"

Yeah, it does highlight the twisted nature of what they're doing. I mean, it's messed-up anyway, but you're right: that really underlines it.
