Better

The teen detective subplot and the evil Apex CEO are pretty silly.

This movie does better with the Kong and Godzilla fights than the previous two.

I don't mind a shortsighted villian, but this guy was really dumb.

It's pretty funny too because the science fiction technology was crazy. You see everyone else using standard tech, but this company has insane technology that could easily have made them trillions in Profit and helped them achieve their goal. But, we can't do that, so here comes mechagodzilla. Still, better that the previous two godzilla movies.
