The Deuce, set on the East Coast, starts earlier in the decade (from what I've read), around the time when adult movie theaters started showing explicit porn (as opposed to sexploitation films).
2) Even if they covered the exact same time period and locale, do you honestly think the documentation/interpretation of such a massive cultural phenomenon should be limited to a single one by a single writer/director?

The only part I am not thrilled with is the twin brother route... Just distracting, and not sure its even needed, but we shall see.
