Give the guy a raise who made that trailer...

... because to make a trailer like that from such a pointless and empty movie, is no easy task

In the first 50 minutes it is hard not to turn this shit off, if you stick through though, the latter half redeems a bit. Not that it becomes a funny movie above the occasional "pull my finger" joke (a joke it literally has). Not at all. This we never see. But at least the story sort of, in a way, forms in the background somewhere in the end.

In short; watch the trailer a few times and give this one a pass.

PS: loaded with famous peps, so like the trailer, the script must have been awesome.

Trust me..it is. (On your last statement.) Very good..the trailer shows the "diahrrea" gag (oiling up his skin) for the main star.

What is? I am not sure what you mean by my "last statement"?

Anyway, I can read from another comment that you found this to be a a very good movie. Fair enough. I disagree but then again it all depends on ones expectation, I suppose. But still, wouldn't you agree that the trailer is a far cry from how the movie is?

I meant "PS: loaded with famous peps, so like the trailer, the script must have been awesome."

Sort of agree that it's a far cry though i still loved it, and have it on streaming Amazon.com.

I think it mostly comes down to what we expect. From the trailer my hopes were high to the likes of Anchorman or even better. The final movie though was more of a uncle-help-nerdy-nephew-and-in-the-process-reconnect-to-his-estranged-sister kind of thing. Sure, it had some jokes here and there, but not up to the standards of what I expected from the trailer. It started pretty good, but then turned in to the family friendly sweetness pretty fast. It is a family comedy thing, and nothing more. If this is what one expects and seek, then by all means go for it...
