scene transitions / editing in general

real problem in this film.. few examples:

1) Lily walks in the house looks at a pair of windows- they light up Mozart's requiem plays- shift to some after-dinner watch party ?!

2) Lily at the dinner table, mom goes for chicken, Lily in her bedroom masturbating. sorry i mean "meditating"

wtf WHO EDITED THESE SCENES

Came to post something similar. I mean what the fuck kind of editing was that?, it was all over the place and made no sense.

Horrid movie overall but the editing was indeed laughable.

I agree! The scene transitions felt at times...jarring.

i guess i'm up for some 'contemporary' story-telling..

but none of this stuff made sense.
