Per Deadline.com, ABC dropped the axe on this one today. Although I don't like seeing people lose their jobs, I'm not surprised, I didn't think the show was all that good.

shareI liked the show, but there was too much hit and miss. The writing just was not always good enough, and when you mix that with an audience with high expectations (looking for nostalgia) it could be disastrous.
shareWhy don't they just concentrate their efforts on getting the classic Muppet Show cleared for DVD? I hate how they just abandoned releasing those.
shareAfter the success of the Jason Segal/Amy Adams movie I thought the Muppets are finally coming back in full force. (He didn't even mind that they didn't bring him back for the next movie.) Then they put this on and now they're down in the dumps again. It almost felt like they intentionally tried to kill them.
