Has it always been disconnected from the current time? Like when they search for guns but they arent there because its still the day Will disappeared. Is it always that day? Does time not exist in the upside down?

But why would the guns appear in the house? WHO would put the guns there? Just because time exists it doesn't mean that guns should miraculously appear in that location.
The upside down world was created at a certain point in time as a copy of the real world. Like a clone. But once you create something it diverges from the original, it doesn't keep copying the original. If the original breaks a bone after the cloning it doesn't mean that the clone will have a broken bone.
You make sense. I was thinking out loud when i posted. strange how it works though and i wonder if we will get more insights or answers into how it functions
