I'm thinking from speculation based on actor movements and a comment from a panel that we might see these two form a duo at some point next season. We saw them interact a little in season 2. What are your thoughts on this if they wind up working together away from the rest?
shareCould be. It's possible that each of the original 4 might pair off with a girl in S3. Mike/Eleven, Lucas/Max and, not necessarily as a romantic thing, but maybe they will pair Will with the new lifeguard girl character and Dustin with Erica.
shareA very unlikely duo that would be... just like Steve & Dustin. It’s been reported/speculated that Erica (the perfect bratty little sister) is going to have a larger role in season 3, so if they do pair her up with Dustin in some way, then cool. That’d be interesting and amusing to see.
I personally would like to see more of Steve & Dustin’s bromance though — or the son and mother relationship as the fandom would prefer to call it.
We will probably get some of that too. Gaten confirmed at one of his panels that he filmed some scenes with Joe Keery.
shareThat’s good to hear. A while back I did read that they were going to continue their friendship in season 3, but I wasn’t sure if that was official. Of course it only makes sense to keep the two as friends.
