Ben Mendelssohn as King George VI ???

Weird. I did not even know who this guy was until I
watched the Outsider I think it was the Stephen King
Story. Then I realized he played Danny Rayburn in Bloodline.
A real creepy character who I was glad got killed, but he had
a real charisma in that character. The Outsider was crap, but
this guy is a good actor. I like actors who are not major celebrities.
The big stars the more I read and find out about them the
more I dislike most of them.

Ben Mendelssohn seems to have cornered the market in grumpy kings.

I detested Darkest Hour but will admit that he was the best thing about it - that’s not saying much, mind.

He’s a good actor. I’ve liked him ever since The Year My Voice Broke.
