MARK HAMILL!

This guy nails everything he does. How is he not in everything right now?

His character is written really well; I'm loving the arc with him and Landry. It's really smartly written and clever. But beyond that, Mark Hamill has pulled out all the stops. He's elemental here.

Just finished season two and right to the end, Hamill was astounding. His character, the writing he got, and the performance itself were full-throttle and made the whole show a pleasure. I'd watch a whole show about Talus.

I found myself thinking about Talus as an "alt-hitorical" take on old Luke Skywalker. He's been everywhere and seen it all, and now he's training young Templars/Jedi to take up the faith AND the (laser) sword. He's unstoppable, powerful, wise, fatherly, brutal, and a little cracked in the head. Do you love him? Maybe... But you definitely respect him. It's not necessarily his story anymore, but here he comes anyway, like a gravity well bending spacetime around him. He'll light your path, baby, and shove you down it if you lack the courage or conviction to start on your own. I really wish this was closer to what we found in the new Star Wars films. Coulda been epic...

He carried S2 and should have been the main character.

He should have been in it more, for sure. I'm not sure that crazy-sage mentor character could be a protagonist, but you know what? With Hamill's performance and Talus' madcap wizardry, I'd be willing to give such a series a shot, at least.

I would watch it!
