The queen upon finding out she was pregnant by a monk and not the king, proceeds to tells her handmaiden a story and says she has learned "to never cross the king ever again."

Yet......

-not sleeping with the king for 2 years, isn't that crossing him?

-having an affair with his friend, a monk at that, isn't that crossing him?

Good point. She called it from the beginning. King Phillip looks like Prince Humperdinck from the princess bride.
