The Most Realistic Portrayal of Dysfunction I've Seen In Years

Wow! I just watched this and I can't believe how gorgeous this movie is and how haunting and realistic it's portrayal of addiction and family dysfunction is. All of these people should be bigger stars than they are, especially Krisha Fairchild. Her performance will haunt me for years.

I agree.. The film was very authentic.. I wish though, that they were clear on the family ties earlier on. There was so many people it was a distraction, especially the ruckus in the first 15 min of the movie. It was too much, I almost stopped watching, then finally that awful music stopped.
I would have loved more of a backstory. I feel like as great as a film it was, its still felt like something was missing.
