And I've got to say that for me personally, it was a perfect finale. Sure I would have enjoyed a few more seasons, but down the road we may look back and think that 3 seasons was for the best.

I'm gonna miss the show, but I consider every episode a bonus since I never really expected any follow up to Army of Darkness. For what the show was, for me the pilot and series finale were absolutely perfect. And in between there was a shitload of excellent adventures featuring one of the greatest characters in cinematic history. YA GOT THAT!

Yep, it's satisfying to know that Ash is still off somewhere doing what he does best. It wouldn't have seemed right for there to have been a tidy, happy ending (see season 2 finale - lots of people complained about that) or if Ash had been killed in the final battle with Kandar.
