Least rewatchable great superhero movie

Endgame is a great culmination of everything in the MCU, but I have not seen it nor have had the desire to see the film since it was first released almost 3 years ago. Many people I know who also are into movies haven’t watched it in a long time either. I just find it interesting how arguably equally great superhero movies such The Dark Knight or Spider-Man 2 have more rewatchability than Endgame and most Marvel movies. What is it about Marvel movies that they don’t create the same desire to be watched over and over again?

I agree.

Issues that make rewatching this hard in my opinion

1) It's kind of a bummer. Very sad emotional music, themes of loss make up half of the film. Even though it turns around half way through and becomes more upbeat. People remember the sad beginning and usually don't want to watch it again.

2) It is just too long. Cut about 30min off.

3) It's precursor is so much better.

Yep, that truly is it.

Recently I have considered watching it again (still only seen it once) only because I think about the time travel scenes. But the huge grieving procession of the film makes me reconsider. I borrowed it from my library two months ago and returned it without watching it. I got it again last week and still havent actually watched it xD, its due back in two days.

UPDATE: I returned the movie today and still have only seen it one time.

Of all the marvel movies, I have rewatched The Winter Soldier the most. It just had more excitement, and interesting storyline with great villians.

Yeah, that’s one of the few Marvel movies that can stand on its own. Really well crafted film.
